About this item
This make up or toiletries bag has been upcycled from an amazing vintage table cloth, covered in hand embroidered daffodils. On the front is a host of golden daffodils, and on the back is a trail of three daffodil heads. This pretty storage bag could also double as a clutch bag. Perfect for a spring wedding. It would make a lovely Mothers’ day gift or an Easter present. The fabric has been backed onto canvas for body, but it is still a soft little bag. The front and back have hand embroidered yellow daffodils covering the surface. It measures 21 cm wide and 16 cm deep with a golden yellow zip, finished with a flower head pull. The ends are boxed to make it a little more roomy, and it has a loop for hanging up on the wall to admire the craftsmanship, or to hook around your finger and use as a little clutch bag. The lining is green and white striped furnishing fabric and it is finished off with my embroidered name tag. Please use a short gentle machine wash, straighten whilst damp and leave to dry naturally. Your order will be packed in clean, reused wrapping and sent as RM 2nd class.

This tablecloth was a great buy from the car boot. Although the linen was tea stained, the embroideries were in great condition. Every Spring I make a couple of bags from it!
