Drawing inspiration from vintage sewing patterns, mid-century design, Regency novels and nostalgic yearnings, I create things that remind us we can live an analogue life: one with a favourite book, a cup of tea and a cosy corner. An analogue life in which getting dressed up to go out dancing without filming it for social media is more fun. An analogue life in which it is an acceptable use of time to sit and watch that old black and white film whilst creating something by hand.
I love creating items that will hopefully become a beloved piece and be passed down as a family heirloom.

I am selling my acrylic yarn stash, and some of my polyester fabrics as although I personally don't want to use these fibres anymore, I know that many people do, to create beautiful, useful items that will have a long and happy life.
After making the large record bags I really wanted to make something smaller and dinky, so I gave it a go, and I was able to use nearly the same methods as making the larger ones, though it was a bit more fiddly! I am pleased with how they turned out and am ready to offer them for sale!

Full description
The ideal mini bag for those little bits and pieces you don't want to put in your pockets or have rattling around the bottom of your big handbag. This unique purse was created using an old 45, zingy fabric, a soft strap, zip and card.
As the strap is approx. 54cm long it's perfect to carry by hand or over the arm and is just big enough to fit a 6.5cm x 14cm slim (5mm) phone, a bit of cash, your I.D and some lippy. The purse is 18cm x 9cm x 5 cm.
Wipe clean only. If the bag gets wet, dry carefully as soon as possible to prevent cardboard base insert from spoiling. (Care instructions are inside the bag)
Stitched on a Brother sewing machine with some hand-stitch finishing. Non-toxic Crafters-Pic glues used.
Small parcel postage costs are included in the price.
