Next Craft fair 18/7/2027 at Hymers Sports field in Hull with 'A Little Pot of Yarn' Crochet creations by Rachel.
My shop will look a little empty for a week or so before a restock and I will be closed for orders from the 17th -20th July. Thanks for looking!
Drawing inspiration from vintage sewing patterns, mid-century design, Regency novels and nostalgic yearnings, I create things that remind us we can live an analogue life: one with a favourite book, a cup of tea and a cosy corner. An analogue life in which getting dressed up to go out dancing without filming it for social media is more fun. An analogue life in which it is an acceptable use of time to sit and watch that old black and white film whilst creating something by hand. I love creating items that will hopefully become a beloved piece and be passed down as a family heirloom using reclaimed, new, oeko-tex and organic fabrics and accessories in the most sustainable way possible.
I do hope you find something to love in my shop, thank you for visiting and if you have any questions about my makes, please message me!
I am selling my acrylic yarn stash, as although I personally don't want to use these fibres anymore, I know that many people do, to create beautiful, useful items that will have a long and happy life.
Inspiration came from the fabric itself, the panels were just the right shape to create bags. Greta for carrying around your latest gothic horror!
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Add a splash of colour to your days with this tote. An owl on the hunt is featured on one side, his eyes large, under orange stars whilst sitting on an orange crescent moon. A black crow is on the other, he stands on a toad-stool surveying the full moon with a watchful eye, surrounded by seeds, berries and flowers.
The perfect bag for a lover of gothic or horror novels!
The tote bag measures 24cm x 32cm and has soft handles of 51cm long and was created using fabric which featured printed panels and stitched with French seams for a neat finish. The black, soft woven straps are long enough to carry on the shoulder or to hang on the arm. The inside of the bag is large enough for most things that are commonly carried around such as phone, wallet, keys and a novel, or you could use it to carry around your paint-set and sketching paraphernalia, your knitting, crochet or embroidery project (as long as they’re not too large!) Alternatively, you could even fill it with dried flowers and hang as a decorative item.
Wash at 30 degrees, this is a polycotton blend and has some form of elastane added which gives it a slightly stretchy feel. Iron low on reverse.
10% of all sales, after fees, will go to charity; shared between Mind and Cancer Research.
