Small handbag or bucket bag upcycled in a floral vintage embroidered table cloth

This pretty vintage embroidered cloth was just right to upcycle into a little bucket bag. It has a spray of embroidered flowers on the front, and a little sweep of vintage flowers across the back, decorated with 3 vintage buttons. Its two handles are long enough to fit snuggly around your hands, and although it is dinky, it is just large enough to hold your essentials at a wedding or garden party. This small hand bag has a decorative button and loop fastening, as well as a magnetic snap on the inside facing, and is like having an additional pocket, but with its own handles! Unashamedly nostalgic, it would make a lovely present for a vintage fabric lover, or as an accessory for a Spring time or vintage wedding. The linen has been stitched onto canvas to strengthen it, but it is still a soft little bag. It has a pair of handles, each 32 cm long. It measures approx 24 cm by 24 cm with boxed in ends to make it a little more roomy. It is lined with a vintage inspired roses fabric, and is finished off inside with an embroidered facing for a neat finish. It fastens with a magnetic clasp, as well as with a covered button and loop closure, and is finished off with my own embroidered name tag. Please hand wash or use a short delicate machine wash, and leave to dry naturally. I like to reuse. Your bag will be posted out in clean, recycled wrapping and posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class.
