About this item
This lavender bag is made from two lovely vintage embroidered fabrics, both with a Folk Art style. The front is from an old vintage table cloth worked in a tapestry effect stitch, and the back is a section from a tray cloth, both with a softly washed feel. Inside is nestling a little bag of dried lavender from North Yorkshire. Pop it in a drawer for sweet smelling clothes, or under your pillow for healthy sleep. This little bag would make a lovely present for someone learning to embroider, for a fan of vintage textiles, or a little gift for Mum. The bag measures 10cm by 10cm and inside is nestling a muslin bag of dried Yorkshire lavender. The front is floral cross stitch and the back has a border of geometric flowers and some tiny drawn thread holes to let the scent escape. There is a hook for a clothes hanger, or to hang up as a tiny piece of art work, and it is finished with my own embroidered name tag. This listing is for one little lavender bag only. I like to reuse, your little bag will be posted out packaged in clean, recycled wrapping from my hoard, and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.

A lovely folksy seller gave me some fabulous pieces of old fabrics from her collection. I thought these two vintage embroideries, with their folk Art style, would marry up really well together as one on the front, and one on the back of this little lavender bag. There is a matching yellow one of these also in my shop right now.
