Make up bag or pouch made from an embroidered vintage table cloth.

This zip up bag is made from a beautifully embroidered piece of vintage table linen. Altho it had seen better days, the four embroidered corners were all in wonderful condition. This is one of them! There is a pretty spray of pink flowers across the front with smaller flowers along two sides, and a scattering of vintage buttons in the top corner. Pretty as well as practical, it can be used for storing make up, cosmetics or special memories. It would make a great present for a vintage fabric fan, for a friend who is learning to embroider, or for anyone needing a virtual hug. The bag front has been backed onto cotton to strengthen it, but it is still a soft little bag. There are 8 buttons stitched on the front. It measures approx 20 cm by 20 cm with a 20 cm pale blue zip opening, that pulls shut with an embroidered flower head. The back is made from a beige linen cotton mix, and the lining is a fine striped polyester. The bottom has been boxed to make it a little more roomy. There is a finger hook for hanging up somewhere nice to admire the handiwork, and it is finished off with my own embroidered name tag. Please wash on a cool short cycle, and leave to dry naturally. I like to reuse if I can. Your bag will be packaged in clean, recycled wrapping from my hoard, and sent by royal Mail 2nd class.
