Make your own gnome in clay. There's gnome doubt about it: this kit makes a lovely gift for any craft lover, or a relaxing make for yourself. No kiln and no experience needed.
Designed in our Wakefield pottery studio, with a step-by-step video tutorial on our YouTube channel so you can see exactly how it's done.
What's included:
- 1 bag of specialist air-dry clay (approx. 750g)
- 2 wooden sculpting tools
- 1 loop tool
- 1 paint brush
- 1 tub of sealer
Add a paint pack to finish your gnome:
- Gnome paints: red, green, magenta, white, black, brown
- Primary paints: red, yellow, blue, green, white, black
About the clay: after trying lots of types, we chose this specialist air-dry clay because it's softer and easier to model than many leading brands. It contains fibres to give it strength when air dried, and it can even be kiln fired up to stoneware temperatures.
Air-dry clay needs 24-72 hours to dry before painting. To join pieces together, just use a little water.
