Plant Pot Head Clay Kit for Two - Air Dry Clay Planter Craft Gift

Make your own plant pot heads in clay, together. This kit for two is a lovely gift for plant lovers and creative friends, and your finished pots make great company on a windowsill or desk. No kiln and no oven baking needed. Designed in our Wakefield pottery studio, with a step-by-step video tutorial on our YouTube channel so you can see exactly how it's done. What's included: - 2 bags of air-dry clay (approx. 750g each) - 2 wooden sculpting tools - 1 loop tool - 1 paint brush - 1 tub of sealer Add a paint pack to finish your pots (6 x 12ml paints, a paint brush and a palette): - Primary: blue, red, yellow, orange, violet, black - Pastel: light green, light blue, light pink, light yellow, white, light orange - Earthy: light green, dark green, mid green, orange, yellow ochre About the clay: after trying and testing lots of types, we chose this clay because it's softer and easier to model than many leading brands. It contains a small amount of nylon fibres to give it strength when air dried, and it can even be kiln fired up to stoneware temperatures. Air-dry clay needs 24-72 hours to dry before painting. To join pieces together, just use a little water. Every kit is packed by hand in our studio, ready to give as a gift. Your kit may arrive in a different box from the one pictured.
