If I find a piece of vintage embroidered linen that is past it's best, I salvage what I can from it and incorporate it into new items to be enjoyed every day.

Full description
A snippet of embroidery from a little vintage cloth, (see photo, perhaps part of a dressing table set) provided the focus for this needle case. I surrounded it with an irregular patchwork of soft blue fabrics, stitched onto a piece of canvas and then topstitched along the seams.
I machine embroidered the word "Needles" in blue thread onto white cotton and appliquéd this to the front. Vintage style lace also decorates the front and back. The inside is lined with dark blue fabric with a little cream print.
Inside are two leaves of white felt to hold needles and the case can be closed with a loop around a fabric covered button. Gently padded with fusible fleece. Measures approx 9cm x 13.5cm when closed.
This item is one of a kind and is ready to ship. I usually send out next day using second class postal service in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible, so if you would prefer first class, please get in touch. Your item will be wrapped in new tissue paper, whilst the outer packaging might be recycled.
