Hi and welcome to The Old Button Sews, where I sell beautiful gifts designed and sewn by me, together with a range of sew-it-yourself craft kits.
Most items are dispatched within 2-3 working days, and I post Tracked 24 at a flat cost, no matter how many items you buy. (Cards and bookmarks are sent First Class, at a lower postage cost).
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
A beautiful festive pixie fabric card, embellished with hand embroidery and a little button. Blank inside for you to write your own message, this card is perfect for Christmas, but can be used for a winter birthday or to send a handwritten note.
This is part of my zero-waste range, where I use small offcuts of fabric to create beautiful little gifts.
The fabric has a little bit of sparkle, which catches the light beautifully. I fussy-cut the fairy from waste fabric pieces left over from my Christmas Stockings and bunting, and backed with thin wadding. Then I hand-embroidered the edge of her skirt and added a button from The Old Button's tin.
The fabric is mounted in a tri-fold aperture card in quality white cardstock, and comes with a matching envelope.
