A little piece of pottery to light up a quiet moment.
This isn't an ordinary candle.
The ceramic vessel is slab-built by hand, shaped and assembled in my Forest of Dean studio before being decorated with subtle botanical impressions and finished in a rich blue glaze.
Inside is a soy wax candle, hand-poured into the handmade ceramic vessel.
I love the slightly quirky character of this shape — particularly the curved handle.
Once the candle has been enjoyed, the ceramic vessel can become a keepsake rather than being thrown away. It could be used afterwards as a little trinket holder for rings or simply kept as a piece of handmade pottery.
