Combining intricate artisan metal smithing with genuine beach-found history, this kinetic piece is designed to sway and capture light gracefully with your every movement. The body of the jellyfish features a hand-selected piece of genuine Seaham sea glass in a pastel blue-green-grey white tone. When caught by the light, it filters a stunning, soft ethereal translucency that perfectly mimics the natural, bioluminescent glow of a deep-sea jellyfish. The glass is carefully secured inside a heavy, open-back sterling silver bezel to maximise this light-catching effect. Suspended from perfectly aligned, handcrafted jump rings are multiple strands of different shimmering sterling silver curb chain, individually bobbled at the ends. Acting as the jellyfish's tentacles, they create a full, luxurious "liquid tassel" effect that catches the light individually and offers fantastic fluid movement. The piece is beautifully completed with a distinctive, polished triple-ring decorative bail.
