Full description
This cyanotype print is created from my own garden photograph of a Jackdaw taking flight. Using the traditional cyanotype process, I transformed the photograph into a beautiful blue-toned image, giving it a distinctive, atmospheric quality that is quite different from a conventional photographic print. The image has then been transferred, via acetate, onto quality 300gsm watercolour paper base. The print was then mounted to the final design on recycled card making for a creative contrast in tones and texture.
The final design has been hand signed and dated for a 'gallery' feel resulting in a unique piece of handmade botanical art to send, keep or frame.
