Full description
These miniature cyanotype and gel-print 'passport' sized prints are created from my own photographs and designs inspired by my Bedfordshire garden and the surrounding countryside. Using the traditional cyanotype process I transform the photographs into a beautiful blue-toned image, giving it a distinctive, atmospheric quality that is quite different from a conventional photographic print. These have been combined with gel plate acrylic prints from the plants in my garden using various tones of blue and paynes grey. The very nature of both of these creative production processes means that each design is different, making each of these card creations unique. The miniatures are then mounted onto Japanese papers and quality white card.
