Inspiration for my bears comes from many places. Sometimes, it's when I see the mohair or linen, the colour and texture of the fabric, and the bear presents themself in my mind.
Other times, inspiration arrives from places, such as the time I walked along the coast of Malahide, Ireland with my sister; we came across a breathtaking meadow of daisies. It was so beautiful and the view stayed with me.
I made the first Daisy bear as a gift memento for my sister, but recently decided to make another for Butterley Bears. I hope you like them!
Safety information
My bears are made using traditional artisan methods, which means that they contain small parts, such as old-fashioned cotter pin joints (made from wood and metal); pellets (for adding that comforting weight and squish); glass eyes (for the old bear 'boot button' look and twinkle); and some (such as the bunnies) have metal wire inside so I can shape ears, paws etc. All this attention to detail adds to the authentic feel of my bears, but does mean that they are not children's toys. They are collectable artist bears made for older children from age 14 years to over 100.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Daisy is a daydreamer, who loves to sit in quiet reverie, letting their mind wander where it pleases.
They are made using traditional techniques and their fur is quality ivory Hembold mohair. Daisy is filled with wood wool and sheeps wool and they also have some pellets in their tummy for added comforting weight and squish. They have moveable limbs being fitted with old-fashioned cotterpin joints.
Daisy's twinkly little eyes are black glass and they have a satin stitched nose. The beautiful finishing touches are their daisy embroidered paw pads, a guipure lace daisy crown, and they are clutching a paper daisy flower.
