Bits and bobs, we all hate to see waste so here we have a handcrafted wonky patchwork festival leisure hat made in a bucket hat style. Fully reversible.
Sewn with a multitude of scrap polycotton fabrics, including pinks, reds, blues, greens, and finished with a red machine embroidery stitch. On the reverse we have a bright red cotton twill, with a white handsewn Petersham ribbon to act as a sweatband, or for decoration depending on which side you want to wear it. All main construction seams are hidden and topstitched with a matching red thread. The brim is interfaced to assist in keeping it's shape.
The hat is fully vented with two eyelets on either side for those really hot balmy days. I have also added two suede laces and a toggle finished with a handmade Stevedore knot for those windier days on the beach.The laces are fully removable via two eyelets on the brim to enable you to reverse the hat.
The size is 55cm circumference medium fit, so please check your size to avoid disappointment.
Ideal as a present or gift to yourself to reduce sunburn and glare on those bright sunny days.
Quality machine stitched to a high standard and fully washable on a 30 degree delicate wash.
