Full description
Cowper's Cross, Ilkley Moor is a variable edition A4 cyanotype print featuring the stone cross that sits on the moors above Ilkley in West Yorkshire. This long daytime exposure (60 seconds) shows the clouds blowing above, and grasses moving in the foreground.
This print was hand-coated and exposed using the traditional cyanotype alternative photographic technique. Because of the historic process involved, each print I make is subtly different, and released as a variable edition, not limited edition. The borders are intentionally varied too, bringing a distinct character that makes this print unique.
