Full description
In central Bradford, in the space between the Alhambra Theatre and the Media Museum, a statue of Queen Victoria holds aloft this 'Winged Figurine Of Peace'. The sculpture Alfred Drury moved away from making a traditional orb and cross, which I find much more moving.
This print was hand-coated and exposed using the traditional cyanotype alternative photographic technique. Because of the historic process involved, each print I make is subtly different. The borders are intentionally varied too, bringing a distinct character that makes this print unique.
