50g of beautiful soft cashmere fibre, suitable for handspinning and feltmaking.
The fibre on offer here has been commercially dehaired and combed into sliver, or "top".
Cashmere fibre is a very fine (14-18 micron), short fibre combed from the Cashmere goats in Spring. Hand spin into extremely fine yarns, or blend with fine wools to produce a more hardwearing yarn. For the ultimate luxury, blend with silk before spinning.
NB Great care is taken to describe and photograph the fibres accurately, but the colour shown on your monitor may differ from the actual colour of the fibre.
