My background is in Graphic Design and although I'm now retired I still enjoy the creative process. A lot of my work features birds and flowers and I particularly love combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces.

Full description
Here's a gift for someone who has everything - they won't have one of these! Or keep it for yourself and add a boho vibe to your home with this little cabinet of curiosities. It's home to a collection of treasures from across the globe including carved yak bone fish from Nepal, a polished ammonite from Madagascar, a metal turtle from Mykonos in Greece, a Buddha amulet from Thailand, a carved woodblock from India, a pressed glass flower bead from Czech Republic, bone beads from Africa and carved Hua jade beads from China. There are also some pretty shells and I've made a couple of small clay leaves which have been debossed and painted.
The freestanding box has been painted black and each compartment has been divided into sections using a mixture of decorative papers, some of which I've made using a gelli plate.
The box measures 23.5 x 16 cm and is 3cm wide.
