Full description
A truly unique handcrafted decorative piece, made from a natural banksia seed pod, with an apple wood base and rim, each seed hole is filled with a vibrant orange resin that beautifully highlights the natural grain patterns of the pod.
Every banksia pod is completely unique meaning no two are ever the same. When sunlight shines through the resin filled openings, the vase comes to life with a warm glowing effect that's shows of the natural beauty of the materials.
This versatile piece can be displayed in more than one way.
As a decorative vase filled with artificial or dried flowers.
Or as an ambient lamp by adding a Led string or Led T-Light.
Each piece is individually handturned in my small Lancashire workshop and carefully finished to enhance the pieces natural character.
