About this item
Stained glass and wire heart made in beautiful dark turquoise glass. I haven't made one of these for some time, long overdue so I hope you like it. This would make a lovely anniversary, wedding, Valentine's present or just a present for someone special. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled and soldered. I have added a twisted wire boarder both on the inside and outsides of the heart for interest and structure. I have applied a patina to blacken the solder. Dark turquoise/petrol blue wissmach glass has been used inside the wire hearts and a large turquoise nugget at the bottom. A large cut glass chandelier tear drop has been hung from the centre of the heart with 4 small hexagonal chandelier drops wired around the sides. A length of fishing line and hook have been attached for hanging purposes. This sun catcher measures cms x cms. I will supply a window hook so you can hang it up on the window as soon as you receive it. Please remember to wet the plunger before you pushing firmly onto the window. This item will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24 post. Please note as made of glass if dropped it may break resulting in sharp edges so care should be taken. The chandelier drop in the centre is cut glass which could magnify the sun so please take into account when choosing which window to hang in.

Please note Royal Mail have increased their postage costs yet again. I send all my suncatchers through Royal Mail using Tracked 24 with/without signature and in some instances, depanding on value, Royal Mail Special Delivery. I have always found their service to be reliable and generally arrives the following day however I appreciate they are getting very expensive, so if you would prefer I can send using Tracked 48. Please contact me if you would like this option and note this will take longer to be delivered by Royal Mail. If you would like me to post your parcel by Special Next Day Delivery which SHOULD ensure it arrives the following working day by 1.00pm please see my listing under ‘Postage Upgrade’. Please be aware that I will do my best to post the same day but cannot guarantee this will happen - the listing gives more information. If you are buying an item as a present and would like it sent direct I am more than happy to gift wrap and include a message, just let me know what you want to say and make sure you confirm the recipients address. I normally post ready made items the next working day. If you see something you like but would prefer in a different colour just drop me a message as I am more than happy to make to your requirements.
