About this item
Steam train suncatcher made in stained glass by Carole’s Glass. This handmade stained glass steam train suncatcher is for all those train spotters out there. The train has been made from lime green corella glass and clear textured glass for the window and white streaky sea glass for the steam, large glass nuggets have been used for the wheels. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together before being washed again Tinned wire has been used for the details. Two rings and a length of fishing line has been attached for hanging purposes. This type of glass work is also known as the Tiffany technique. This measures 13cms x 14cms. I will supply a window hook so you can hang as soon as received but please remember to wet the plunger before pushing firmly onto the window. If you are buying as a present and sending direct I am more than happy to gift wrap and include a message. I normally post the following working day and this will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24. This is not a toy so keep out of reach of children. As this is made from glass if dropped it may break resulting in sharp edges so please take care.

Please note Royal Mail have increased their postage costs yet again. I send all my suncatchers through Royal Mail using Tracked 24 with/without signature and in some instances, depanding on value, Royal Mail Special Delivery. I have always found their service to be reliable and generally arrives the following day however I appreciate they are getting very expensive, so if you would prefer I can send using Tracked 48. Please contact me if you would like this option and note this will take longer to be delivered by Royal Mail. If you would like me to post your parcel by Special Next Day Delivery which SHOULD ensure it arrives the following working day by 1.00pm please see my listing under ‘Postage Upgrade’. Please be aware that I will do my best to post the same day but cannot guarantee this will happen - the listing gives more information. If you are buying an item as a present and would like it sent direct I am more than happy to gift wrap and include a message, just let me know what you want to say and make sure you confirm the recipients address. I normally post ready made items the next working day.
