Full description

This handcrafted trinket dish featuring a blue meditation inspired figure is formed from pale cream coloured glass with softly rounded edges. It has a serene blue silhouette in a lotus pose, accented by an infinity-shaped base that symbolises balance, harmony and the continuous journey of inner peace.

Ideal for holding rings, jewellery, crystals, keys or other small treasures it also serves as a beautiful decorative accent for a meditation space, yoga studio, bedside table or desk.

I created the dish by stencilling the silhouette with beautiful blue powder on a cream glass tile which I then capped with a clear tile and fused them together. The tile was then put in the kiln again to form the dish shape. Each visit to the kiln takes approximately 7.5 - 8.5 hours to fire.

The dish has some raised bubbles in the glass which were created during the fusing process but do not affect the strength or function of the dish. There is also a small dark spot to the right of the silhouette, hence I'm selling this piece as a second.

Still perfect as a trinket dish, jewellery holder, tea bag rest or decorative accent it brings a touch of modern elegance and peaceful simplicity to any space and will especially appeal to those that practice meditation and yoga.

The dish measure approx. 10 cm square and has a height of approximately 2cm in the corners.

Please be aware that due to variations in screen displays, the colours may appear slightly different in person to the photos you see on your screen.
