I am really pleased with this Royal Vale 'Roses' find which I am turning into pin cushion sewing sets (I rummaged a set of 10 cups and saucers in total). The Vintage cup and saucer has a handmade pin cushion to store your pins and needles and the set includes a round of glass headed pins, a tape measure and a small pair of embroidery scissors , keeping everything to hand. I also use these to sit on the table when I am pinning my pattern to fabric keeping everything handy and it helps to weight the fabric to stop it from moving.
All my pin cushions and sewing sets are made from 'rummaged' vintage collections (the rummage is half the fun of making) - there were ten in this collection and I am making them all slightly differently - no two are alike - so do keep checking back to see the others
