Give the gifts of Pride and carefree summer days with these beautiful crochet rainbow wind spinners!
I made these wind spinners in response to a local news story which served to highlight exactly why Pride Month is needed now more than ever. Comprising the primary colours, but less overt than a flag, these wind spinners are a way to express who you are and what you believe in without compromising on fun. And if you ask me, every outdoor space should be decorated with accessories such as fairy lights, bunting and wind spinners during the summer months!
The lowdown:
Dimensions:
Length (when hanging): approx 82 cm from top of loop to bottom of tassle.
Width: approx 10 cm.
Made from 100% acrylic yarn and three wooden beads.
Machine washing: not recommended.
To prolong the life of your wind spinner, I recommend bringing it indoors and putting it away when you've finished using it.
Although this item would look fantastic in a child's room, please note that it isn't a toy and won't withstand rough treatment. Children should use with adult supervision.
For an additional 75 pence, a hook to hang your spinner is available, just select your chosen colour scheme plus hook, eg., "colour edging plus hook' from the drop-down menu.
