Hand Knitted Beanie Hat in pure Scottish Aran Wool in the colour red with a grey faux fur Pom Pom on top.
The cable pattern surrounds the entire hat and is knitted using circular needles so the cable design is not interrupted by a seam
Knitted to fit-
Head circumference - 56cms (22")
Length from crown to lower edge - 19.5cms (7 1/2")
The Pom Pom is 18cms ( 7") in circumference
This Beanie fits every age group from teen to senior
I have used a mix of cable twists, double moss stitch and a cable chain stitch over the plainer stitches
The well fitting brim has a single rib
A Grey faux fur Pom Pom sits atop the hat and compliments the red of the hat
Pure Aran wool is environmentally friendly - a natural fibre, it keeps the wearer warm without sweating - wool deters dirt and odours and once it has once it has completed its lifespan , is bio degradable so will not harm the environment
Because this is pure wool, it is recommended that this yarn is hand knitted and dried flat, but full laundry instructions are enclosed with the purchase
The Pom Pom is detachable for laundry - wash by hand then fluff up by drying with a hairdryer - if no hairdryer available, dry naturally then fluff up by hand
If the had just needs to be freshened up, hang outside in the fresh air for a time and it will come back in smelling fresh
