This beautiful necklace is made from Aquamarine chip bead links adorned with Swarovski crystals. The chain and findings are all Sterling Silver.
Aquamarine is a natural stone which contains occlusions. This gives each of the chip beads a unique look and colour and means that no two beads will be the same. This adds to the beauty and character of piece.
Length: 18 inches plus 2 inch extension chain
Aquamarine is the birthstone for March. It's beautiful blue-green colour is reminiscent of the ocean, it's name comes from the Latin for "seawater". It was said to have come from the treasure chests of mermaids, which lead sailors to use the gemstone as a protective talisman when at sea. It is still often used as a protective talisman for travellers today.
Aquamarine is known to reduce stress, boost courage and restore emotional balance. It promotes courage, inner strength and aids in overcoming fears.
