I always woke on Christmas morning to find a bear sitting at the bottom of my bed so bears have always been a tradition during my growing up. I made cheap fabric bears often out of old clothes and later for many years made antique style mohair bears.

Full description
My two new bears has been made to celebrate all things Easter. I was undecided whether it should be as a lamb theme or a duckling, so I have made both.
This little girl is Ester and she measures just less than 10" (25cm) sitting
She is knitted in two shades of alpaca yarn in light brown together with a pale cream brushed alpaca which gives this two tone mottled appearance.
Her sleeveless jumper is knitted in baby soft merino yarn in snowdrop white and is hand embroidered with a baby chick.
She also wears an Easter bonnet in pale yellow tied with a silk ribbon which has spaces for his bear ears.
Ester carries her favourite toy duckling knitted in a fine silk mohair and wears a little blue scarf.
The bear has jointed arms and legs.
Ester's Easter companion is Ethan and has his own separate listing.
