I'm a bear and textile artist, designer and creator of unique hand embroidered heirloom keepsake bears and collectables.
I'm happy to send my items direct to a recipient on your behalf and I can personalise or rename bears, just drop me a line.
USA CUSTOMERS - The shipping prices in my shop now include the new UK/USA shipping tariff & postal delivery duties paid.
Postal Delivery Duties Paid (PDDP) is a service whereby duties are handled by Royal Mail and the overseas delivery partner so that the recipient does not incur any additional cost at the doorstep. Instead, VAT and duties are calculated and collected at the point of sale and paid to the relevant tax authorities locally via Royal Mail.
If I overcharge on postage I will refund the excess.

Meet Barley, a lovely traditional dressed collectable artist bear designed and created by Bearlescent
Barley is a traditional style collectable bear standing around 10.5" tall and handmade from Helmbold 12mm semi sparse mohair in Pebble.
He is a fully poseable with cotter pin joints, he has brown safety eyes and a hand embroidered black nose.
Barley has wool fabric beige paw pads which have been gently shaded to give an aged appearance.
He wears a hand knitted hooded sweater in a lovely tweed wool mix yarn in beige/fawn with flecks of black. Black and brown tiny check trousers in a wool mix fabric and a matching cap which sits between his ears.
Barley is a sweet little boy, a little old fashioned and slightly shy but very playful, he's looking forward to having a forever friend to hug. He would make a perfect gift for someone special, a Fathers day keepsake or heirloom birthday gift perhaps, an everlasting gift that can be passed down to the next generation.
All of my bears can be personalised with a name change or a handmade cross stitched sash to go around their body, see photograph for examples. My bears are carefully wrapped and finished with handmade tags. A Bearlescent card is also available on a seperate listing £3 and I can post direct with a message of your choice. Just leave a message at checkout or contact me to discuss options.
Barley wears his name on a wooden tag and Bearlescent is to the back of one ear on a polymer clay button He has been added to my bear register and will arrive with birth certificate.
Made as an adult collectable bear only, he is not suitable for children under 14 due to his cotter pin fitments.
Barley will be posted by Royal Mail tracked 48 post, I upgrade to special delivery at no extra cost when compensation cover is required for high end bears like Barley.
