Everybody needs a special place to put their cup down and these are extra special with a wool back, light padding and a darling ruffle around the edge for that gentle touch of cosy nostalgia!

Treat someone special, or yourself, to a heart-shaped quilted coaster. Perfect for a cosy corner where someone likes to sit and craft or read a book whilst drinking their favourite beverage.
Whether your preference is tea, coffee or something equally refreshing, place your beverage on this pure wool backed coaster which will bring an added sense of cosiness to your day whilst protecting your surfaces.
The patchwork pieces are stitched onto a layer of polyester wadding with a cotton or polyester-cotton backing, further backed by the wool: this gives the coasters a substantial feel, whilst the ribbon or ruffle edges add a sense of nostalgia.
Handwash or machine wool wash only.
Can be ironed.
The patchwork has been created from various cotton, polyester-cotton, linen blend and wool blend fabrics from other projects. Trims are polyester - some with elastane. The blue bows are polyester. Top stitching was done with my Brother sewing machine, using either plain polyester thread or variegated cotton thread. The ruffles on the ribbons and the stretchy lace fabrics were created with my 1954 Singer sewing machine.
