This basket was inspired by the calming balance of nature—forest greens, soft earth tones, and natural fibers that remind me of peaceful walks under the trees. I wanted to create something both useful and beautiful: a simple place to keep everyday essentials like keys and wallets right by the door, while also adding a handmade, earthy touch to the entryway. The mix of cotton cord and jute reflects strength and softness, functionality and style—turning an ordinary storage piece into a little work of art that welcomes you home.

A handcrafted coiled basket made from forest green and off-white cotton cord with natural jute, combining rich colour, natural texture and practical everyday storage.
The deep forest green, earthy jute and soft off-white create a nature-inspired palette that complements modern organic, Scandinavian, boho and contemporary interiors. The contrasting fibres also highlight the hand-stitched coiled construction and give the basket plenty of visual texture.
Perfect for a hallway console, dressing table, bedside table, bathroom shelf or coffee table, use it to hold keys, jewellery, sunglasses, cosmetics, hair accessories and other small everyday essentials. It also looks beautiful displayed empty as part of a styled vignette.
It also makes a lovely reusable Christmas hamper: fill it with beauty or self-care treats, chocolates, hair accessories or other small gifts to create a thoughtful present, with the handmade basket becoming part of the gift and something the recipient can continue to use afterwards.
Each basket is individually handmade using coiled fibre construction, with the different cords carefully wrapped and stitched by hand.
