Full description
A pair of bronze plated cufflinks created with maps, each one showing a different location. An ideal gift for a 1st (paper) or 8th (bronze) wedding anniversary! You pick your own maps, thinking of placenames that are special to you or your recipient. These are a personalized gift and a great way to remember those special places in your life.
I can make them to order with cities, towns or villages of your choice from all round the globe (I collect a lot of maps!).
I use real sections of map for all my cufflinks. Each piece of map is carefully sealed behind a glass cabochon using a clear refractive adhesive. The cufflinks settings themselves are brass with a choice of finishes.
Cufflinks are 16mm in diameter (half an inch)
Colours and text sizes can vary depending on the atlas I am using, but I do take care with the aesthetic appeal of each set. Message me about previews!
The colours involved are muted earth and sea tones that many maps use.
Your cufflinks will arrive in a small card cufflinks box, suitable both for giving as a gift and for storing them when not being worn.
