Show your love for our British wildlife! I take old illustrations from spotter's guides and nature identification guides, and transform them into unsual, quirky and fun cufflinks and jewellery. To create these cuff links I have taken vintage paper illustrations and sealed them under glass, and then set them in simple yet striking simple circular cufflinks settings.
They make a unique and special gift for a birdwatcher or wildlife enthusiast! They can be a real talking point and add a touch of personality to a smart outfit.
This set feature the heads of a great-tit and a blue-tit, beloved British garden birds. The colours are soft blue, yellow and cream, which tone well with the bronze settings.
I use a super clear refractive adhesive to seal the paper under a clear glass cabochon, which preserves the colours and clarity of the original book image.
The cufflinks are circular, bronze plated plated and are 16mm in diameter. Each set is presented in a black card cufflinks box that is produced from sustainably forested trees. I shipeach set in a handmade book page envelope, for an extra special touch.
