The next craft fair I will be attending with 'A Little Pot of Yarn' crochet creations by Rachel, is on Sunday May 10th in Hedon for the Create and Taste event.
Inspired by a pattern from Craft seller magazine. The original used needle felting technique and had shorter limbs. I played around with various ways to create something similar and Fox Bride was one of the outcomes!

This pretty Fox bride was inspired and adapted from a pattern in The Craft Seller magazine.
NOT A TOY
Created in Hobbycraft felt and filled with Habico toy stuffing, this ornamental fox bride was stitched mostly on a sewing machine, but has some hand-stitched finishing and has a hand embroidered nose and mouth. Her eyes are safety-toy eyes.
The lacy fabric dress, decorated with glued on pearly coloured seed beads, is stitched onto the fox and has a plain underskirt for modesty!
This fox will not stand alone but can be propped up or will sit decoratively and is around 18" tall (46cm). From one ear tip to the other is approx. 7" (18cm).
This beautiful bride fox is for ornamental purposes only and not intended for children. Excessive play may loosen beads or limbs - Not A Toy.
This would make a lovely gift for a bride to be or someone recently married. Alternatively, an ideal gift for someone who loves foxes!
This particular fox has her own personality and was created as a prototype as I was experimenting with different ways of how to make them. She is a one of a kind and it's unlikely to be replicated!
She has been in storage for quite a while and it's time she had a new home!
