Hello and welcome!
Thank you for popping into my shop! I’m a retired Graphic Designer, but thankfully I haven’t retired from being creative. I still love the process of making things, experimenting with colour, pattern and texture, and giving new life to all sorts of materials.
You’ll find a colourful and eclectic mix of handmade pieces in my shop, with birds and flowers featuring strongly throughout. I particularly enjoy combining unexpected materials, patterns and colours to create unique mixed-media pieces — so there’s always something a little different to discover.
I’m also a big believer in happy postage! If you find more than one item you’d like, I ALWAYS combine postage and refund any excess. I know it can be a little alarming to see the postage total increase as you add items to your basket, but please don’t worry. I’ll package your purchases together and refund the excess postage on the same day your order is dispatched.

A little celebration of garden birds and spring colour, 'Blue Tit and Forsythia' is an original miniature mixed-media artwork, created for anyone who loves watching the birds visit their garden.
This charming little piece has been created using a mix of inks, acrylic paints, pastels and decoupage papers, building up layers of colour and texture to bring the blue tit and his springtime surroundings to life.
I've finished the artwork with a distinctive boho-inspired tiled border, made from carefully selected sections of decorative papers which I've painted and mounted onto card. The patterned border adds an extra splash of colour and gives the miniature artwork a lovely decorative feel.
Small, colourful and completely original, 'Blue Tit and Forsythia' would make a thoughtful handmade gift for a bird lover, nature enthusiast, or anyone who enjoys bringing a little bit of the garden indoors.
And if you're sending it as a gift, I've also made a matching gift tag to accompany it.
The artwork comes in an 8 inch white, square mount with a 3.75 inch aperture and is titled and signed on the back.
