Thank you for popping into my shop! I’m a retired Graphic Designer, but thankfully I haven’t retired from being creative. I still love the process of making things, experimenting with colour, pattern and texture, and giving new life to all sorts of materials.
You’ll find a colourful and eclectic mix of handmade pieces in my shop, with birds and flowers featuring strongly throughout. I particularly enjoy combining unexpected materials, patterns and colours to create unique mixed-media pieces — so there’s always something a little different to discover.
I’m also a big believer in happy postage! If you find more than one item you’d like, I ALWAYS combine postage and refund any excess. I know it can be a little alarming to see the postage total increase as you add items to your basket, but please don’t worry. I’ll package your purchases together and refund the excess postage on the same day your order is dispatched.

Full description
Here's a quirky gift for a siamese cat owner who enjoys a cuppa.
This textile and decoupage paper collage features a Siamese cat nodding off in a pretty teacup. There's a little camomile teabag tag hanging over the rim which probably explains why he's fallen asleep.
The background has been created using layers of cotton fabric, including batiks and also pieces of decoupage paper. The teacup is cut from a section of Designer Guild fabric and the cat was printed onto cotton and then trimmed out and layered onto the collage. I've made the little teabag tag and matching gift tag from colour copies.
The artwork is in a off-white 8 inch square mount. The aperture is 5.5 inches.
The picture is signed and dated on reverse.
