A longing to recreate the elegance and delight of cravats and bow ties. Selecting which fabrics would be best to use was almost as much fun as the creating itself!

Show your alternative style with this vintage style, tartan poly-cotton cravat. Ideal to wear in the spring months as a neck warmer tucked casually into a shirt or cardigan or worn more formally with a pin for a special event such as a wedding or presentation with a shirt or blouse.
A versatile accessory, this could also be worn as a hair band too! Just pop the band part under your hair at the back, and tie a double knot at the top, tuck the 'bow' parts under slightly or leave out for an extravagant retro rockabilly look or have the bow under the hair for a more sleek finish.
Inspired by Fred Astaire, Cary Grant and John Steed; and those old photos and films in which men exude elegance and style.
Dimensions; 85 cm long, cravat point 15 cm wide, 5cm wide band.
Can be washed at 40 and tumble dried, though to prolong the life of the fabric, I recommend hand washing/delicate machine wash, air drying and cool ironing. Fabric; polyester cotton.
