The next craft fair I will be attending with 'A Little Pot of Yarn' crochet creations by Rachel, is on Sunday May 10th in Hedon for the Create and Taste event.
I love the retro elegance of cravats, bow ties and ascots and so wanted to recreate them but using fabrics that were more modern or alternative. The flowers and butterflies, and tiny leaf sprigs on a vintage scarf I'd had in my stash for a long time seemed perfect to create something elegant and almost timeless. These can be worn in various ways and can elevate an outfit to something special!

Full description
This beautiful cravat began life as a vintage, silky fabric scarf. The purple has a lovely sheen with sprigs and dots in the pattern which blend beautifully with the floral butterfly motif. Perfect for someone who loves the country cottage aesthetic.
This would look elegant paired with a collared shirt/blouse or cute peeking over the top of a cardigan or jumper. Wear loosely tied for a casual vintage vibe, or fastened more formally with a pin.
Wear to a wedding, for work or everyday to show off your unique style.
Alternatively, add a touch of retro glamour to your look and fasten around your head as a stylish hair tie to keep your hair back.
Dimensions; 85 cm long, cravat point 15 cm wide, 5cm wide band.
Wash on 30 - preferably hand wash - air dry and iron/press as silk so that you don't melt it.
