The Story Of The Forest began with long walks through quiet landscapes.

I spend much of my time hiking through forests, mountains, fields and quiet paths, noticing small details that often go unseen — the shapes of tiny flowers, the colours of grasses, the fragile structures of petals. Many of the flowers I use in my jewellery are ones I have collected during these walks.

Each flower is first placed between the pages of books and left to dry slowly, allowing its natural form and colour to remain. Later, the dried flowers are arranged and sealed in clear resin so they can be preserved and worn. Resin can be quite an aggressive medium for something so small and fragile, but when handled with patience and care it protects the flowers and preserves their beauty.

I combine them with sterling silver to create jewellery that carries a small fragment of the landscape with it.

No two flowers are ever the same, which means each piece becomes one of a kind.

For me, making jewellery is a quiet and thoughtful process. Resin is my favourite material to work with — its clarity allows the smallest details of nature to remain visible while giving them a new form.
