Hi! My name is Nicola. I am a 40 something mother and wife living in the British countryside with a few 4 legged family members as well.
Here at Stitchdoodles, I create Hand embroidery pattern designs that allow you to have many hours of happy stitching.
As well as the wonderful and colorful patterns and kits you will find a treasure trove of gorgeous hand embroidery supplies all handpicked with quality and luxury in mind.
Immerse yourself in a world of threads and stitches in a way that suits you. Choose your colors, try out different stitches or just follow along exactly as I show you. Not only will you be creating something to keep, but you will be allowing your mind to switch off from everything around you and focus on the simple pleasure of stitching for as short or as long a time as you like.
So many people have discovered the joy of hand embroidery - not just the stitching but the process that goes into each design. It's amazing how beneficial this age-old craft can be and I hear time and time again how people just love stitching.

Stitchdoodles was created in 2019 after I was finding it difficult to find hand embroidery patterns that were exciting and a bit different from the usual.
Here at Stitchdoodles we are all about creativity....
Nicola started the company in 2019 after finding it difficult to find hand embroidery patterns that were exciting and a bit different from the usual. Wanting to combine her love of hand embroidery stitches, traditional sampler techniques as well as quilt designs(!) she decided to come up with something herself and it has evolved into an array of wonderful and colourful designs that will hopefully inspire and excite people to pick up a needle and get stitching.
Alongside the designing, Nicola is passionate about teaching others how to stitch her patterns and regularly holds stitch a longs on the blog to offer a more indepth look at some patterns and for a community of stitchers to enjoy coming together and creating a design they can all be proud of.
