Hello, I'm Karen, the artist behind Purplecatscorner, creating from my little creative corner of the Isle of Man.
I love making art that brings a smile, tells a story or simply brightens someone's day. My work ranges from whimsical girls, cats and uplifting designs to my much-loved Tudor and historical collections, inspired by my love of history.
You'll find my artwork on prints, stickers, wooden pins, magnetic bookmarks and other little gifts, all designed to bring a little bit of joy into everyday life.
I'm a self-taught artist and create my illustrations using a mixture of traditional painting and digital drawing in Procreate. I love building layers of colour, pattern and tiny details into my designs.
