Twisted Bike Chain Bracele...

I don't have a workshop, garage, shed or even a room. I have a kitchen table, a big table but still just a table which needs clearing often. Hence I am limited to the size of things i can make, including mess. So jewellery was a natural starting point. Using things that have already been made also seemed like a natural step. Therefore up-cycling, re-cycling, re-purposing, what ever you want to call it seemed like an idea.
Cycling was a big part of my life, and while an outdoor activity instructor I maintained a small fleet of them. An endless source of parts, chain, inner-tubes, brake cables etc. After a chat with a friend, who runs a bike hire business on a west coast Scottish island, the idea of keepsakes for cycling adventures came about, and what says cycling more than bike chain?
After just having had two partial knee replacements, I have time on my hands and thought i would, sit down and finally get around to selling on-line. I may even make enough to buy more tools and diversify.
