I’m Melissa, an illustrator based in Lancashire. My illustrations are inspired by the places that make life feel special — the cosy corner of a café, a much-loved local pub, a quiet bookshop, or the front door of a home filled with memories.

I started creating these illustrations from a love of travel and noticing the small details that give places their character. What began as sketching places I’d visited has grown into a collection of artwork that celebrates meaningful locations and the stories behind them.

I now work from my home studio, creating both location-inspired prints and bespoke house and venue illustrations. I especially love working on custom pieces — hearing the story behind a home or a place and turning it into something personal that can be kept or gifted.

My aim is always to capture not just how a place looks, but how it feels — creating artwork that brings a sense of warmth, nostalgia, and connection.
