Hello, I’m Kitty, an artist and art teacher working from a little woodland studio near Haslemere in Surrey. I’ve spent over 18 years helping people of all ages discover the joy of making, and my work is rooted in nature, colour, and the small details that make a piece feel alive.

Springwood Barn Art Studio is where I paint, teach, and create the pieces you’ll find here: gentle florals, textured canvases, and nature inspired designs that carry a sense of calm and curiosity. I love materials that invite play, soft blends, layered colour, expressive marks, and I’m always exploring new ways to bring those qualities into my work.

Everything I make is created slowly and thoughtfully, often with the garden just outside the window and birdsong drifting in. I hope my pieces bring a little of that quiet, creative joy into your home.
