Hello and welcome to my little corner of Folksy! I am a Landscape and Seascape watercolourist, currently based in Southern England. I spent 20 years living and working overseas with my wife and daughter, across Asia, the Middle East and Africa before we returned home to settle outside London. Much of my inspiration is drawn from memories of the Japanese coastline, the deserts of Saudi Arabia, the jungles of Malaysia, and the forests of Mozambique. I am also inspired by our beautiful landscapes here in Britain, and this is reflected in my work. My approach to watercolour is mostly impressionistic and semi-abstract, and I always use professional quality watercolour paper and paints. I work from our kitchen, with much of my time when not working in my daytime employment dedicated to painting. I like to sell my work framed, which I include at no extra charge. If you would prefer to receive your painting unframed, please do let me know.
