Artist, illustrator, creator of story book colouring books and so much more.
First off, yes, I have Cats, 3 Tabbies currently, they are often models for my Cross-Stitch Cats book series. The first of which I wrote many years ago whist camping in wales, the kids were sick of the story books we'd taken with us so I had to come up with something new, and my youngest Holly wanted the same story night after night but wo betide me if I deviated from the original story, so early on I knew I had to write them down to read over and over, fast forward to 2022 I got Covid, couldn't smell anything so couldnt make candles, hadn't the patience to knit, crochet or sew, so thats when I picked up my pencils and paints after many years of not using any of them, save for drawing stick figures with the kids, and came up with a few paintings which are now available as coasters and magnets. Around the same time, my DIL asked if she could illustrate one of my stories for me ( she still hasn't got around to it, Ha ha), and my brain then called me all the names it could think of and prompted me to do it myself, after all, "what did I go to Art college for all those years ago"? From December 2022 to May 2023, I edited and illustrated "Holly and the Cross-Stitch Cats " and finally published it on the 20th of May. And the rest, as they say, is history. I'm currently working on book No. 15, due to be published before July, with many more to come, but for now, my recent obsession is ACEOs, which I'm finding to be a welcome break. I hope you like what I've come up with so far and become one of the many friends I've found on this creative journey.
