Arts, Crafts & Upcycled Furniture

Beginning painting in 2023 to help with anxiety and my overall mental health, I quickly realised that creating something from a blank page or a lump of clay was what brought me joy. After being forced to quit corporate life due to ill health, I now create at home in a small conservatory (moving from the dining table!), whilst my 2 cats sleep in the living room, they are very rarely interested in what I do, which I'm quite thankful for!

I take most of my inspiration from nature - I belong in the forest - I find beauty in decay as well as budding new life. Although my personal aesthetic is dark and gothic, I find that the majority of my art is colourful; albeit at times quite chaotic and apocalyptic, but I feel that it is reflecting what is happening in the both the world around us all right now, and my own internal microcosm.

My signature is the use of metallics, I just can't resist that shimmer when it catches the light in just the right way.

As of now (February 2026), I am finishing up the last of my beach combed oyster shell trinket dishes, there are also a couple of painting series' that need to be varnished and made good, so watch this space!
