I have been making & designing all my life, it really was the only option for me to do with my life. I am based at 36 Lime Street Studios, Newcastle upon Tyne in an old building housing lots of artists, designers, musicians.

My range of botanical & landscape images combine photography with painting, drawing, Gold leaf & digital manipulation to create unique artworks. Many feature silhouettes, when plants, flowers, trees & buildings are viewed in this way, the distraction of full colour is removed, allowing an almost hidden beauty to be revealed. Trees look so fragile in their winter skeletal state, delicate lace patterns are created with tangled stems. The changing light of the landscape never fails to inspire me with its vast pallet of colours. I am trying to capture that perfect moment in time before it changes & fades away.

I also have a beautiful range of plaster relief flower plaques. Using real flowers to create an impression in clay, removing them & pouring plaster over to make a 3D cast that picks up an amazing amount of detail. Some are available mounted on hardwoods. They capture a moment in time that will last forever.
