About Fiona Douglas Art

Fiona Douglas Art

Fiona Douglas Art - Painted Printed Personal

I am an artist and printmaker inspired by the places I have visited and by the beauty of the natural world, from landscapes and coastlines to the wildlife that inhabits them. Working across watercolour, lino cut, acrylic, pencil and pen, I am drawn to the interplay of colour, pattern and shape, finding endless inspiration in the details of everyday life.
My work celebrates moments of connection with nature and place, transforming observations and memories into vibrant, expressive pieces. I enjoy experimenting with different techniques and materials, allowing each medium to bring its own character and energy to the creative process.
Through a layering approach, I build colour, line and mark-making to create texture, depth and intricate detail. Whether producing original artworks or hand-printed pieces, I aim to create work that evokes joy, curiosity and a lasting sense of connection with the world around us.
